Bosphorus Master Series Hi-Hat Cymbals feature a range of organic, dark, and buttery tones that recreate the historic vintage sound of early jazz, blues, and big-band music. Bosphorus Cymbals are completely handmade from the casting process through the final hammering. Not one hammer mark is made by a machine. The Stanton Moore Series wide ride cymbal has great warmth, but plenty of stick definition. It is masculine, yet well balanced. The body does not wash out the distinct dry ping so the two sounds remain through most volumes. Bosphorus worked for two years with Stanton on the development of his signature series cymbals. The results capture the funky, earthy quality of Stanton's trademark sound. The tops are traditionally lathed with warm tonal grooves, while the bottoms are lathed with the distinctive wider ridges associated with the Bosphorus New Orleans series. The sound is 100% Stanton—raw, and aggressive, but always musical and extremely funky. Together these cymbals give Stanton the kind of balanced attack he requires as he takes traditional second line drumming into tomorrow. The Stanton Moore Series 22" wide ride cymbal has great warmth, but plenty of stick definition.
